Vanessa Polster Bayer is an American actor, producer and writer. She portrays officer Debbie Fogle in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. She is best known for her role as one of the cast members in Saturday Night Live from 2010 to 2017 where she appeared in many skits alongside Andy Samberg, including numerous Lonely Island SNL Digital Shorts.
Bayer has made many appearances in other sketch comedy series, like Portlandia and I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson. She created, wrote, produced and starred in a Showtime show, I Love That For You.
