"The Murder Truck" is the name of a business Charles Boyle was going to start with Amy Santiago after he purchased a food truck that was the scene of a double homicide.

Ooh, there's a knee in the fryer. I don't want to sell food out of this!

Throughout the Series[]

In the Season Five episode Bad Beat, Charles Boyle was excited to tell Amy, his investor, about the food truck he bought at their meeting of investors in the forthcoming Charles Boyle owned and operated food truck venture. While showing her pictures of the truck he purchased, Amy noticed the images were from the NYPD Police Auction site and the truck from the Tinga Time Taco Murders. Two brothers were using it as a taco truck to move heroin and were murdered by the cartel that supplied their heroin. Their bodies were dismembered in the truck.

While Amy wanted to avoid anyone finding out about the truck's dark past Charles went the other way and embraced it. He called it the Murder Truck and made menus on a crime scene photo complete with the murder's history in the "Our Story" section.

When Charles took Amy to see the food truck after he had cleaned it they found the contents of the food truck had taken apart.

After this setback, Charles leaned into the deconstruction of the food truck and re-invented a menu that featured deconstructed food. Amy took a different approach and solved the crime of who destroyed their truck; The cartel who murdered the two brothers took it apart to get to the heroin that was still inside it. The truck became a crime scene and was impounded again and Charles and Amy got all of their money back.

Amy ended up eating one of Charles' "deconstructed" meatballs which she loved and eventually became the catalyst for their next food truck venture, The One Thing Truck.
