Terry-Charles Relationship

A running gag throughout the Brooklyn Nine-Nine television series involves the average size Charles Boyle picking on the muscular Terry Jeffords about his physique. In addition to the picking on Terry, another running gag is Charles being wildly oblivious he's not as attractive as Terry.

In the episode, The Party, Boyle spills salsa on his shirt and Terry gives him his sweater to wear over his stained shirt. After Charles puts the sweater on he comments on how well the sweater fits and that they have such similar physiques.

In the episode, Payback, everyone is trying to figure out why Jake is suddenly paying Terry back for money he's borrowed and Jake spits out a lie about why Terry needs the money.
