Walter Stacy Keach Jr. is an American actor who portrayed Jimmy Brogan in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Highly prolific, he has played mainly dramatic roles throughout his career, often in law enforcement or as a private detective. His most prominent role was as Mickey Spillane's fictional detective Mike Hammer, which he played in numerous stand-alone television films and at least three different television series throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The role earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination in 1984.

For the 2010s so far, he has had main roles as Robert "Pops" Leary in FX's boxing drama Lights Out and as Bob Moore on the NBC's comedy sitcom Crowded; in both, he played the father of the main characters. He had recurring roles as Henry Pope, the warden, in FOX's drama series Prison Break for two seasons; as Cassius Pride in CBS' naval military-related police procedural drama series NCIS: New Orleans; and as Archbishop Kevin Kearns in CBS' police procedural fictional drama series Blue Bloods.

He currently is acting as the elderly father Joe Burns in CBS' comedy sitcom Man With A Plan; where he originally had a recurring role for the first season and now a main role from the second season into the third season.
