The Rosa-Terry Relationship is not very persistent in screen time, but is still apparent. They have a passive relation, with Rosa respecting Terry, and Terry respecting and being scared of Rosa. This is shown in Halloween III, when Terry lures Rosa out of the precinct with a handlebar supposedly being a part of Rosa's motorbike. Rosa attempts to threaten to kill Terry, in which Terry states that everyone in the department has the same weapon. In turn, Rosa pulls out a big knife which evidently puts Terry in fear.

Because of Terry's fear, Rosa has the upperhand as shown in The Takeback, better known as Jake's seventh episode-special encounter with Doug Judy. As Rosa and Terry goes on a pursuit to find a missing business card of Holt's, where Rosa takes advantage of Terry when Captain Holt's original card is gone and when Terry's new solution works out by claiming Rosa is just along for the ride when their original solution doesn't work out but takes credit when the new solution is better than ever.
