Rachel is the ex-girlfriend of Teddy Wells. They met when they were both in an elevator.

In the Season Four episode The Audit Teddy brags about his new girlfriend, Rachel. They go to jazz brunch together and do adult coloring books, run 5ks and visit San Diego.
Rachel goes to jazz brunch with him, plus his ex-girlfriend Amy Santiago and her current boyfriend Jake Peralta.
Later, Rachel was shocked and upset to witness Teddy confess his affections for Amy with him being slightly annoyed with her for not staying in the cab like he had planned. When Amy points out that he has a girlfriend he says that Rachel's "fine", which obviously offends her.
She then had to watch as her boyfriend proposed to Amy on the streets of New York City and reveled in Amy's disgust and refusal.
Rachel did not go to the Tenement Museum with Teddy following his proposal to Amy.
