Melanie was an applicant for the 99th Precinct's I.T. Manager position. She is portrayed by the actor Mary Stein.
Throughout The Series[]
In the Season One episode Sal's Pizza, Melanie comes into the precinct to for a job interview. Terry Jeffords and Gina Linetti hold the job interview in the interrogation room. While Terry is asking her questions Gina is sitting beside him flossing her teeth. Melanie is distracted by it until she tells Gina it's gross.
She did not get the job.
