Maya Rudolph is an American actress, voice actress, comedian, and singer. She portrayed Karen Haas, a U.S. Marshal who oversaw the witness-protection of both Jake Peralta & Raymond Holt for about 4 months in the Brooklyn Nine-Nine television series.
She was formerly a cast member of Saturday Night Live (SNL) when Andy Samberg had joined the show's cast in 2005. Her final episode was on November 3, 2007.
She recently had a main role in the comedy-drama web television series Forever alongside fellow ex-SNL cast member Fred Armisen. She has a recurring role as in Judge "Gen" Hydrogen in NBC's fantasy-comedy T.V. series The Good Place, which is a show created by Michael Schur who also co-created Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
She also acted in films like Grown Ups & Grown Ups 2, Bridesmaids, and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping; as well as, have done voice-over work in animated movies like Big Hero 6, The Angry Birds Movie, and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.
