In the Season Three episode, Serve & Protect, Mattingly comes out of the hotel room she was sharing with Grayson to find him talking to Raymond Holt and Charles Boyle.
Grayson tells Holt and Boyle that she is his god daughter as he rushes them into the elevator while she angrily gets out a "what?"
