In the Season Three episode, Boyle's Hunch, Matt Blarkn meets Charles Boyle when he comes to his office to investigate the insurance fraud case against Genevieve Mirren-Carter. He proves himself incompetent after confusing her name with another client of his who was hit by a tow truck. He then expresses relief that it wasn't the tow truck case because he screwed up the case and admitted to forgetting to go to court.
