Throughout The Series[]
In the Season Two episode The Mole Lieutenant Miller comes to the precinct to investigate an alleged employee who has been leaking classified information to a criminal syndicate.
He conducts interviews with Jake Peralta and Norm Scully (over the phone). While investigating Jake he asks if he takes classified files outside of the precinct and later busts Jake bringing classified files from his apartment into the precinct.
Miller accepts the offer of information on Holt from Jake and shows it to Madeline Wuntch, who he was hired by, revealing that there wasn't actually any investigation by Internal Affairs.
