In the Season One episode, The Party, Lawrence meets Jake Peralta and Terry Jeffords while at Captain Holt's house for his birthday party. He chimes in while Kevin is explaining how he and Holt met by stating that nobody else is as funny as Raymond Holt.
He also talks to Michael Hitchcock while Norm Scully is singing opera at the party and assumes they're a gay couple who works at the NYPD like Kevin and Holt.
