Laverne Scott Caldwell is an American actor. She portrays Judge Laverne Holt, Raymond Holt's mother, in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
She is known for her role as Rose Nadler on Lost. She had recurring roles as Margaret Shakur in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Enid Adams in Southland, and Jasmine Bromelle in How To Get Away With Murder. Most recently, she acted as Ruth Walker/Nana Ruth in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
