In the Season Seven episode, Lights Out, Kayla meets Jake Peralta and Charles Boyle when they commandeer the pedal pub she was on for her friend's bachelorette party. She holds things up when she loses her shoe and proceeds to biff it when she gets off the pedal pub to look for it. She comes back with a man who resembles Jason Mamoa but no shoe.
Once the lights come back on their pedal pub Kayla remarks at how unattractive everyone actually is. Charles retorts with a bitchy comment about her bangs.
