Relationship With Andy Samberg[]
Joanna Newsom and Andy Samberg met in 2008 backstage after he attended one of her concerts with a mutual friend, Fred Amisen. Newsom immediately recognized him from the Lonely Island short, We Like Sportz and referred to him as "Steve! The c**t!"
They married in 2013 and have two children. Andy Samberg is notoriously private about his personal life and continues to do so.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Acting Credits[]
In the Season Eight series finale The Last Day Pt 2 Newsom made a cameo as Caroline St. Jacques Renard, the associate principal cellist for the Berlin Philharmonic. Samberg's character calls her "some nerd" with "a giant violin," and she eventually refers to him as "the ugly one that made fun of my cello."
