The Jay Street Apartments are a fictional apartment building on Jay Street, Brooklyn.

Throughout the Series[]

In the Season One episode The Tagger, Rosa Diaz, Charles Boyle and Amy Santiago find more than 12 kilograms of cocaine while investigating an apartment in the building.

Amy and Rosa reflect on the apartment being better than their own while Charles has an existential crisis over the color blue thanks to Carlene's prediction that the drugs will be found in something blue. Amy discovered the drugs behind a loose floor board hidden by a green clothes hamper.

Jay Street in Brooklyn, New York[]

While the Jay Street Apartments may not be real, Jay Street is an actual street that exists in Brooklyn. Parts of it is located in what is currently known as the Dumbo neighborhood, which is known for its gentrification, newly renovated warehouses and high prices.
