Janelle is Gina Linetti's assistant. She took on the role after Gina left the precinct and became an internet celebrity.

In the Season Six episode, Return of the King, Jake and Terry meet Janelle when they pay Gina Linetti a visit in her new upscale apartment. Janelle greets them saying that Gina's photo shoot is running over and makes Jake linguine while they wait.
Later in the episode Gina lies about missing drinks with Jake and Terry. She blames Janelle for not telling them she was sick with food poisoning and acts like she is going to fire her as a diversion.
