Running Gag[]

Boyle Backing Up

  • When they are in conflict over the hotel room, Boyle tells Gina that he is "backing up" instead of backing down, and proceeds to bend over and backs up into her, beeping like a truck. This is in reference to The Jimmy Jab Games, in which Gina tells Boyle "it does not turn me on when you bend over and back up into me."

  • When Gina and Charles are returning the items they've left at each others' places, you can see Charles' food dehydrator on Gina's desk. The dehydrator previously appeared in Season One, in a scene when Vivian was returning Charles' things after their break-up.
  • It is revealed in this episode that Scully thought Amy was his best friend, to both Amy and Hitchcock's surprise.
