In the Season Five episode, The Venue, Helgeta is introduced when she is meeting with Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago to discuss the flowers they'd like for their upcoming wedding. She offers them traditional choices like burlap and lace and Jake counters with the question of if she could pull off wrapping the bouquet in crossword puzzles from key dates in their life. Surprised, Helgeta checks in with the bride (Amy) to see if that's something she would like. Amy responds with full enthusiasm.
