Great Nana Boyle was the great grandmother of Charles Boyle. She is considered an unseen character as her passing and will are mentioned but the character does not appear in the Brooklyn Nine-Nine television series.

In the Season Four episode, ''Chasing Amy, Charles Boyle and Gina discuss the recent passing of Great Nana Boyle which had a live stream of the plug pulling ceremony.
In her will she gave Charles Boyle the silk bed sheets she insisted on dying in.
Great Nana Boyle also gave the Boyle family sourdough starter known as the Mother Dough to Gina, who she barely knew. Sam Boyle and Christina Boyle contested this and brought an officer of the court to place the Mother Dough in protective custody while it was sorted out legally.
