Gabe Liedman is a stand-up comedian, producer, writer and actor. He portrayed Dr. Oliver Cox in addition to serving as executive story editor, writer, and co-producer on the Brooklyn Nine-NIne television series.
Prior to Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Liedman went to college at Columbia university. There he met Jenny Slate who became his writing partner and other half of the comedy duo Gabe & Jenny. He also met Lang Fisher at Columbia, who would eventually write on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. His first writing job was Inside Amy Schumer. He also wrote for The Kroll Show alongside Brooklyn Nine-Nine producer, Carol Kolb.

Liedman created the animated series, Q-Force that was produced by Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-creator, Michael Schur. He was a writer for Andy Samberg's 2019 Golden Globes, an executive producer and writer for the Lonely Island produced show Pen15. And a co-executive producer on Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer Lang Fischer's show, Never Have I Ever.
