In Coral Palms Pt. 2, Gina hires Emily as her assistant. Emily is given strict orders to mock Amy whenever she sees the chance. She and Gina sent hundreds of letters to One Police Plaza in support of the new captain- CJ.
Gina got her to write down some burns targeted at Amy so she wouldn't forget them. These included "Why so sad? Did you just find out American Girl doesn't make clothes in adult sizes?", "Steven Seagal called and he wants his ponytail back" and "Hey Amy, what did one graphing calculator say to the other one? Why does the sad lady own two of us?"
Emily had a lot on her plate so Gina hired an assistant called Dana for her.

- The actor who portrays Emily was also on Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-creator Michael Schur's previous show Parks and Recreation. She portrayed the character Julie.[1]
