Docter David Stovelman is the supposed founder of the conical-tiered multi-flow-through medical marketing entity NutriBoom. The "e" in doctor is the apparent British spelling. He is considered an unseen character as he is mentioned and not seen throughout the Brooklyn Nine-Nine television series.

In the Season Five episode, NutriBoom, Jake and Charles learn about Docter David Stovelman after going to the company's customer service offices to cancel their Nutricontracts. There are two options to get out of the contract:
- Pay $10,000
- Enroll in Nutricore, their charity organization. Pay off your contract in labor hours under the teachings of founder Docter David Stovelman.
Charles and Jake break into the company's headquarters and steal their financial records. In them they find a $100,000 payment to the Black Ops security firm, Scepter Core. The payment was made on June 10th, which Jake connected to the date David's wife, Debbie Stovelman went missing.
After investigating further they meet Debbie Stovelman who is alive and lets them know the $100,000 payment was to get her off the grid.
