Charbonnay is a wine that was drunk by captain Holt during a drinking competition between the The 99th Precinct and the Fire Department (FDNY) and is sold at Shaw's Bar.

Season Six[]

  • In A Tale of Two Bandits the squad finds out that the Fire Department are attempting to take over Shaw's Bar because their previous bar burned down. When the detectives realize this, they decide to have a drinking competition against the FDNY to determine who gets to keep Shaw's. Towards the end of the competition Raymond Holt joins the detectives, and orders a Charbonnay, a wine from the Delaware Water Gap, he drinks four bottles thus leading the squad to victory, meaning that the FDNY has to leave.
