In the Season Four episode, Coral Palms Pt. 1 Carly is introduced as a lackadaisical employee who works alongside Greg Stickney at the small amusement park, Frank's Fun Zone. Later in the episode when Larry Sherbert is hired as assistant manager he gives Carly the nickname Smile Face.
