Connections to Other Episodes

  • The way Trudy Judy escapes mirrors the way Doug Judy escaped in the Season 1 episode Pontiac Bandit.
    • Both acted innocent who only did their crime for the better good, but were actually petty criminals who did it for their own pleasure.
    • Both had accomplices who act out as dangerous criminals, but were actually just people who were following their boss’s orders.
  • Peralta briefly mentions the events of all of his annual interactions with the Pontiac Bandit with the exception of the first season; The Pontiac Bandit Returns from Season 2, The Cruise from Season 3, The Fugitive Pt. 2 from Season 4, and The Negotiation from Season 5.
