After the passing of Deputy Commisioner Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher) last year, I thought of a huge question. Should the Halloween Heist be retitled in honor of Raymond Holt?

Today, I want to share one of my favorite Captain Holt moments. It occurs in "Bureau", the 22nd Episode of Season 3. It's when Holt is sitting with Bob, in the hospital room of the man they THINK is Figgis's agent in the FBI. Holt asks Bob if there were ever signs of the man being the mole. The conversation goes like this:
Bob: Yes, there were signs. One time he wore his shirt UNTUCKED
Holt *With a shocked look on his face*: Bob. You did nothing?
Bob: It's the greatest regret of my life
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think in the last episode they will have different fast forwards for all the characters Amy will be Captain, Terry will also be a captain, Raymond will be Commissioner, Jake will be a Lieutenant, Charles will have Genaveve Nikolaj and his Half-Brother. Rosa will have her own family. Hitchcock and Scully will still be friends eating food and Detectives. And Gina will come back for the finale and she will have her child and be an Online Celebrity. Jake Aressts Doug Judy.
(I literally only came on this wiki to share his explanation)
And they said "So the two guys are dog walkers and they stole Maria Calderon's (thats the name he gave amy??) dog from her and she found out about their top secret plan and tried to foil it but failed and now they have to explain whats happening to their supervisor
If Captain Holt is in charge of the whole precinct then does that mean he is in charge of the night crew and the weekend crew. Both of those squads have been featured in episodes so I was wondering if Holt was in charge of them too. If he is why did he not invite them to his party or why are they not at other precinct parties. And wouldn’t he need days off he can’t work 24/7. I’d really appreciate it if someone could clarify
Holt called someone Dirtbag in an episode, and in another he said he could never do that. WAAAH!?!?

Ok so, in like S1 or 2 Holt is playing "Kwazy Cupcakes" and he says that he has incredible self control and doesn't understand why he fails when it comes to controlling himself to stop playing the game. Then, in S5 Holt apparantely has a gambling addiction. Like this just annoys me coz he was so adamant that he had incredible self control and I feel like the writers forgot about it. Also, in S2 Ep8 he apparently had an addiction to gambling for ponies...
Also, in Season 5 episode, another plot hole arises. In S1 when Jake takes Holt to a safe house he says that Holt's tell is that the corner of his mouth slightly moves, but in S5 it's that he uses contractions.
Also, in S2 Ep 8, Hitchcock tells him that he missed Scully's B-day and Holt's response was to lie and say he was in Ecuador, but then literally not even a season later in Ep 19 he refuses to lie to Gina about missing her concert because he "never lies".
Also, in one episode, it’s mentioned that Holt never accepts Christmas gifts. However, in a later episode, it’s mentioned that the whole precinct did a Secret Santa and Holt received a gift.
And, in one episode, Holt says, “I know they say it’s not good to have a TV in the bedroom, which is why I don’t.” However, when the squad comes over to Holt’s house for a party in another episode, Amy can be seen channel-hopping on a TV in his bedroom.
Ok and also in S2 Ep10, Holt calls Brooklyn Broiler a dirt bag but then in S5 Ep12 both him and Kevin say that it's not an insult as a dirt bag is a useful part of a vacuum cleaner or smth.
Am i the only one who noticed these and got a bit annoyed?
I feel like we should've had more of a reaction, or it should come up more often that Holt's middle name is Jacob, like Jake. I mean c'mon it would be comedy gold.
It gets mentioned and then basically forgotten and I just feel like it would be hilarious if Jake would bring it up all the time.
